Hi,
I have recently had ongoing issues with both wrists from heavy lifting. Both wrists often feel quite stiff with noticeable crepitus on rotation. My right wrist is painful upon flexion and the pain manifests in the anterior wrist about two inches below the base of the thumb. ROM in this direction is definitely reduced compared to the left wrist. Wrist extension seems to be normal.
Initially I began having these issues when doing heavy overhead pressing so now I use wrist wraps for all pressing movements outside of warm up sets.
Is it possible that I wrap the wrists too tight?
Can you recommend any mobility/stretching to help?
