10 week strength

I want to sign up for a powerlifting meet that is September 14th , but I have a week long vacation from June 29th to July 6
I ran 12 week strength earlier this year up to a mock meet and it was great!
​​​​​​​I want to use it again leading up to this meet.
This leaves me with a few options.

Option 1 - work around/through the vacation with two training days while out of town.

Option 2 - cut two weeks out and run that consecutively after the vacation, would you just cut the first two weeks?

Option 3 - complete the first 4 weeks before the vacation and repeat the 4th week after returning

Option 4 - just take a week off, regulate with rpe

Hello and thanks for the post. Glad to hear that you had a good run of the Strength Template and that you’re going to compete. I always like hearing that. :slight_smile:

I’d hands down choose Option 1. Training 2 days a week for that one week, particularly in prepping for a meet is highly preferable, even if you train back to back days or have to shorten a training session here and there.
