12 Week Strength: Push-Pull Modifications?

Hello,

I’m currently training for my second PL meet in November 2018, but I will only competing in the Bench and DL.

  1. What modifications should be implemented (since squat will not be my focus)? For example, are there exercises to replace the supplemental squats to improve DL strength?

  2. Will BBM be publishing a Push-Pull template?

Thanks for the post and I hope you’re doing well.

I probably wouldn’t change anything given that this is only your 2nd meet and there is likely a high amount of carry over between your squat and DL still. Any consideration for changing the template would come down to the last 2 weeks where I might only C-S on Day 1 2 weeks out, but then eliminate squatting until after the meet.

We may do a push-pull template at some point!
