Modifying the Peak Template for different lifts

If I want to compete only in a deadlift and bench only, how would I modify the peak.

Shall I just take out the squat so I can focus on the deadlift or do some light variation of the squat too?

Another related question: What if I want to specialize in deadlift using the strength templates. Can I replace a squat slot with a deadlift slot? What would be a good swap?

You could remove the squat for a push/pull only peak.

As far as using the strength templates for a deadlift-only program…I don’t think that there are any simple approaches here I’d recommend, as the program is designed to work together as it is.
