Adding singles @8

I really loved doing singles @8 every week during the 12 week template and was wondering what the pros and cons would be to adding singles @8 every week to your other templates or to training in general?

For example, lets say a session in one of your templates calls for squat with belt for 6@6, 6@7, 6@7, 6@8. 6@8. If one were to do 1@8, 6@8, 6@8, 6@7, 6@7, 6@6; what different outcomes or training effects would you expect to see?

You’d probably be better at doing singles at the end of the program.

The singles would introduce a small amount of additional fatigue that may affect your performance on the back-down sets … the significance of which is impossible to predict.
