Adjusting 12-week press program

I’m currently on 12-week press program. And i have a problem with using standard rpe-percentage scale. For example, i deadlift my 1@8 and than do 80% of that for my 5 sets of 5 (which are supposed to fell like rpe 5). The problem is my 5x5 actually feel like @5, but my 1@8 feels like @10. Which makes me think i’m bad at doing singles. Maybe its because i train early in the morning (2 hours after waking up) and my cns is still asleep. I once even failed my 1@8 after i did 1 warm up rep with 95% of 1@8 (by mistake). So how do i adjust my program. Lower my projected 1RM? But than my 5x5 would become @4. Or lower 1RM but do 5x5 with 90% of 1@8 instead of 80%. And it mostly affects DL, squat and press are more or less acurate.

The problem is my 5x5 actually feel like @5, but my 1@8 feels like @10.

As you noted, this is the problem. Your “CNS is not asleep” from training in the morning. The solution is to hit a more accurate 1@8, which does take practice, and aim to progress this a little bit from week to week. Don’t worry about how the calculated back-offs feel.
