Advice on training

So basic info. 40 years old 225pds and 42 inch waist 5’8 is my height. I did read your “to be a beast” and according to Fat Loss My numbers seem to be 281P 225C 60F. I’m also going to run NLP and doing it the way you stated in Quick Start guide. Do you see anything in my direction that should be addressed? No injuries to mention. I intend to watch weight vs waist measurement to see if I need to adjust the C and F macros accordingly.

Sorry. For me starting out do my macros look in a good spot for me doing NLP and being able to get some fat off while gaining strength through the process. Or should I for go NLP and do The Bridge?

I’d probably lower the protein by 50g and keep the rest of the nutrition the same as long as you’re losing weight.

I think if you want to run NLP, that’s fine- though I would make sure you’re working up to 150 minutes of moderate intensity cardio per week within the first month of training. Then I’d aim to be hitting 300 minutes by end of month 3. You could also run The Bridge or our Beginner Template.
