Hello Jordan/Austin,
I have a decent understanding of how you guys like to do deloads within the context of a program, as I have both PB I and STR I (and the older versions prior to the template updates).
However it got me thinking - since lifts don’t always progress at the same time, is it viable to deload 1 lift at a time if one lift is still progressing but another lift has stalled (after 5 weeks worth of training)?
For example, my bench is currently still progressing and I feel like I have at least 1 more week of progress in me…Whereas my deadlift stalled (have not been able to progress in the past 2 weeks).
So maybe I just deload for deadlift and continue on with benching…?
Thoughts?
