I’ve begun training early morning, so have been making overnight oats mixed with whey and having that straight from the fridge with coffee before I train.
Is there any benefit to having hot porridge with a protein shake over cold from the fridge? I’m thinking hot food is maybe easier to digest first thing or something?

It doesn’t make any difference. Whichever you prefer is what I’d recommend

It doesn’t make any difference. The only criterion that the food is neither so hot or so cold that it could damage the mouth and oesophagus. Beyond that it’s a matter of personal preference.

I assume you mean just don’t burn my mouth when eating?
I assumed that too, but it was phrased in such a way that made my BS meter go off.
