I read and have been digesting your vital 5 PDF and listened to the podcast, and I know I need to improve my VO2 max to improve my score. I’m currently running time crunch 4 day strength and enjoy it. I would like to add in a running program, are there any preferred programs to run alongside your training templates? Happy to adjust lifting a bit as well if needed. Thanks!
We’d recommend one of our General Strength and Conditioning or Endurance programs, as both of those can be used with a running focus and have a complimentary resistance training program. I’d be favoring GSC for you given that you like the time crunch strength template.

Got it. And the running is more or less programmed in there? Meaning distance, time, and/or HR goals for each cardio session? I’m a very structured person so something as similar to the structuring as lifting will benefit me most
Edit to add: is just using the assigned cardio within time crunch an option to add running? Just use a walk/run combo to stay within suggested RPE?
Yes, conditioning is programmed with duration and intensity parameters. You can combine the conditioning from GSC or Endurance with the lifting components of the time crunch template, yes,
