About 4 week ago I told you guys about my back pain when low bar squatting and deadlifting. I was told to avoid these movement for a while and try to progess on movements i could do pain free. First 2 weeks i could do anything due to the fact that i had a tonsillectomy. Next 2 weeks i belt squatted because that was my pain free movement. Today i low bar squatted 65lbs 3x5 and deadlifted 135lbs 1x5 just to try it and it was not painful. My question is should i now run a lp from here or should i keep belt squat and wait a few more week to start an lp on squats and deadlifts? Btw idk if this is important but my back hurts if i sit for a long time( about an hour or over).
If you have NO PAIN under the barbell, you can run a sort of “accelerated LP” back up to your previous strength levels. If you still have pain, take it a bit slower.
