I’ve been running the purchased version of the beginners program for 6 months now but I was only doing deadlifts rows and ohp now I’m running the full program but my deadlift is stuck and far ahead the other lifts at 285x4 for rpe 8 what should I do here
What block are you on right now?
I’m on block one didn’t want to move on because I’m still so weak on the other lifts
If it were me, I would move onto block 2. It’s not like your squat, bench, and other movements have no carry over from the movements you were doing. I also don’t think any program would work for 6 months without significant changes. I’d plan on moving to block 2 and running that for ~ 8 weeks. It probably won’t last longer than that as far as driving strength up at a continuous, predictable rate. At that point, I’d switch programs entirely based on your goals.
Should I do block 3 after 8 weeks in block 2 then my be in after that?
Not necessarily. As mentioned above, I’d switch programs entirely at that point. I should also say, block 2 may only last ~ 5-6 weeks before it’s time to move on. Most programs just aren’t really viable longer than 4-8 weeks without significant change.
