Bedtime Stretch Routine

Does it make sense to have a stretching routine right before bedtime? Or is it a waste of time?

A bedtime stretching routine is supposed to help you fall asleep faster and improve your sleep quality. Is that true?

A bedtime stretching routine could look like this:

1 minute of stretching with the following exercises:

Child’s Pose

Butterfly Stretch

Seated Hamstring Stretch

Pigeon Pose

Supine Twist

Legs-Up-The-Wall

I think this is a personal decision. If you enjoy doing it and seem to benefit from it, it’s low-cost and low risk. If you have to sacrifice sleep or other aspects in your personal life to do it, I think the calculus changes.
