I would really like to up my bench. Being an experienced lifter of bodybuilding type routines, I have have migrated to the BB templates.
i ran the Bridge and Bridge 3.0. I start 12 week strength template tomorrow. I would like to remove the competition press. If I slot competition bench on Day 1, what would be a good replacement for the comp bench originally slotted on day 2? And should the rep range stay the same for this supplement as it would have for the comp?
For the supplemental press slot, I just plan to use touch and go incline press, unless there is better option.
I’m not sure I would do that unless you’ve already been benching 3+ times per week.
You have to gradually work up to it and the 12 Week Strength program is heavily bench-focused as it is. I wouldn’t change it if it’s your first time through it.
Thank you for your reply. I started week one before receiving it. I have finished days 1-3 as I described in my original note, except I used incline CG bench for day 3, exercise 3. If I go into week 2 as you suggest, how high should the angle be on the CG Incline for day 3, exercise 3? Any issue with incline CG bench day 3 and flat CG bench day 4?
