Bench & OHP Programming in the Beginner Template

Hi BBM team,

What is the reasoning behind programming the bench press twice a week and the OH press only once in the Beginner Prescription/Template?

The Beginner Template allows the user to select their preferred movement variations for each slot, as there are many different exercises that would work to train the muscles of the anterior shoulder girdle suitably- the bench press and the press being two of many options.

I am assuming that the heart of your question is about why not OHP twice and bench once. You could do that too, but it wouldn’t matter one way or another.
