Hanging leg raise and ab wheel.
Anybody have a progression for ab wheel? My “core” isn’t there yet.
Take it out as far as you can go and try to increase range of motion each session.
on yt they tell you to reduce the ROM by hitting a wall with the wheel, then increase your distance from the wall gradually.
above notwithstanding i still cant do ab wheels, i just cant get the form right, and i dont know whats wrong. my lower back just collapses regardless and i dont feel anything in my abs.
Planks and knee raises on the other hand…
I’ll try both approaches. Planks are improving, but I’ve wanted to do ab wheel for 15 years. Life goal of standing (may be pipe dream).
Try bracing your core before each rep and treat the exercise like a bunch of singles. Those two things made the difference for me and in 8 weeks of doing them 2x weekly I can do 10 reps for 1 set.
can i ask you why do you do them twice a week?
