Bicep pain during bench

Just want to first say thank you for this forum. I feel pain in my left bicep during the eccentric portion the movement when I bench press. i have tried different grip positions to see if it makes a difference and so far nothing. I’m 33 male. 215 lbs and I am currently doing the bridge. I was wondering what could be attributed to this or if I can do anything to “rehab” the pain. Thank you.

This is one of those situations where we can’t see you and don’t have quite enough information to give you a specific plan of action for your pain.

The most common reason this happens then is when people’s set up on the squat causes the pain, which then is exacerbated by bench pressing. This typically requires alterations to the squat set up / grip to improve, a topic that has been discussed at length elsewhere.
