Bicep pulley lesion

Hi team,

I’ve got some unpleasant feeling in the right shoulder and quite heavy pain in the elbows back in the July, but was continuing to follow the program. Pain wasn’t that bad though, I did stop doing heavy benches and OP for some time and it mostly went away. I had some unpleasant feelings in the shoulder in the morning though (still the case). Thankfully I’ve stopped lifting completely in August due to broken finger - whole another story.
Originally I went to the doctor but he didn’t diagnose anything specific so I thought that it’s OK.
But discomfort didn’t go away even after 5 months so I did MRI 1,5 weeks ago. It had showed that LHB tendon is “located eccentrically” in the bicipital groove and I do have some tear of the 1/3 of SSC tendon. My doctor told me that bicep pulley lesion is the main cause of the pain and furhter complications in the shoulder - SSC tendon tear. I also do have a tenosynovitis of LHB tendon.
As a non-operational treatment he suggested some non-steroidal injections. He told that it’s around 50% possiblity that it’d help due to scarring the tissue around the pulley and it’d help to keep LHB tendon in place.
If it won’t help he’d recommended the tenodesis. TBH I’m very nervous about it as it’s basically cutting the tendon - and LHB tendon itself seems to be OK/pain is not that bad either, it’s more of a discomfort in the morning mostly. I’m a bit afraid that it can get worse with time though.
Did you have any experience with the bicep pulley treatment? Can it be managed non-operatively?
I’d really appreciate any suggestions from your side.
Thanks in advance.

I would strongly recommend a consult with our rehab guys on this matter, as this is a complex situation.
