Bodybuilding II Block III Questions

Hi Jordan,

I just started block III of the BB II template, and I noticed that the most recent excel version downloaded from the website has a few programming differences to the older one and to the app, e.g. there is no partial range of motion fatigue stop work for hamstring isolation anymore, and some of the rep ranges are different (e.g. 5-8 for exercise two on day for in the new excel vs 6-10 in the older one & app). Are these changes intentional, and is the excel off the website the one you recommend following?

One more question: Is there any programm related reason you didn’t programm partial range of motion fatigue stops for lat work?

For the hamstring isolation question and other Q’s, I suspect the app has a typo in the description, as I think the lengthened partial stuff can be difficult to pair with the supersets. I would default to the Excel’s programming in the interim. I’ll go in and clean up the app. The Excel is almost always right.

With regards to lengthened partials not being programmed for upper back work, I think that the muscles of the arm end up being targeted with that approach, which isn’t really the training intention there. You could try it on your last set or two if you wanted.
