I never ran the “SS LP” however I did run a similar program on a linear fashion for months. Here is what it was:
Monday
CG Bench: 4x6 alt w/ Press
Pendlay Row: 4x6
Squat: 2x5
Chins: 20 reps in fewest sets
Triceps alt w/ Curls: 2 sets
Facepulls: 2 sets
Wednesday
Press: 4x6 alt w/ CG Bench
Deadlift: 1x5
Lat Pulls: 4x6
Kroc Rows: 1x20
Curls alt w/ Tris: 2 sets
Ext. Rotations
Friday
CG Bench: 4x6 alt w/ Press
Pendlay Rows: 4x6
Squat: 2x5
Chins: weighted 6x3
Curls alt w/ Tris: 2 sets
Rear Delts: 2 sets
Anyway this got me to weighing 242 at 6’2 around 19%bf. Best close grip bench was 285 (I’ve only ever benched with a close grip). Squat 335. Deadlift 460. Press 190. (These were 1rms but were usually done after working sets so I feel I could’ve done heavier fresh).
I’ve started stalling, and I feel like jumping on LP from where I already am would be a waste of time. I am looking at trying the Bridge 1.0 and was wondering if that would be the right move at this point. I am very interested in signing up for group programming and was considering whether I should run the bridge first or just sign up for group programming now. I’ve never worked with rpe and so I feel I could benefit from the group programming and working within it, but if you think I should just run the bridge alone first beforehand I will do it.
