Cardio timing

In one of your videos I think there was something about maintaining a 12-hour time gap between a cardio session and a lifting session, but I didn’t catch the precise wording. Is the suggestion to wait 12 hours after lifting before doing cardio, or to wait 12 hours after doing cardio before lifting, or both? (Or maybe I made the whole thing up and it’s neither.)

If you’re doing it on the same day, a 6 hr period between efforts is advised (or 12 hrs works too). If on separate days, don’t worry about it.
