Cardio days.

So as I learned in Jordan’s recent video Cardio is ok to do while on NLP. My question is have y’all found it better to do it on lifting days after my session and at a minimum 6 hours later or on my rest days? Or does it even matter.

Really depends on how much, at what intensity and so forth. I can tell you if your busting your ass on running and trying to strength train it will catch up to you on both spectrums. If you simply talking once a week maybe twice. Do them on rest days to stimulate some blood flow into muscles this will aid in recovery.

How far off are you from an 18 minute 2 mile?

in some BBM templates you need to do cardio (GPP) 2x week. 1 session is usually 40m LISS and the other 20m HIIT. Can I do these after normal training or should I dedicate the days off for them?

Ideally, one would do the resistance training on M/W/F and the GPP work on T/Thurs or Tues/Sat, though GPP work can be done after the main training.

They sure do. If you feel optimal I don’t think it would do much harm post workout, but if you do have the time try to make them on non training days, simply because as ii said blood flow for muscle recovery and well, keeps the gym times shorter. If your anything like me in already at the gym 2 hours, I don’t want to be there any longer.

I would personally avoid it during NLP, unless of course you have a specific reason to add it in. If so, in my personal experience, it is best to do it directly after you train on your training days if you have the time.
