A while back I posted my lipid panel and lp(a) numbers. Lp(a) was high, 232.8 with a standard range of <75. Advice (from my doctor, cardiologist and Austin) was to start statins and I’m now taking 20mg rosuvastatin and 10mg ezetimibe. I just got re-tested and wanted to report numbers are much improved, so thank you for the advice and articles on cholesterol.
Glad to hear things are looking better. Thanks for the update.
At this point, would the advice be to just continue the meds indefinitely, unless something changes, assuming diet, exercise, etc. meet or exceed guidelines, no out-of-range labs and no symptoms?
Thank you.
That would probably be appropriate.
