Cold weather and arthritis

Hey, BBM gang! How are you? I have a question. My grandmother is 74 yo and has an arthritic knee. She told me multiple times that her knee starts to hurt more when the weather changes. My question is : Does this pain come from the tissues that react somehow to the changes in barometric pressure or is it because when it’s cold outside we tend to have a “bad” mood which can exacerbate the symptoms? Thank you in advance!

Anyone, please?

I remember how my grandma could predict rain with her arthritis.

Based on what I’ve heard and read, it’s possible that weather changes can indeed impact arthritis pain. The fluctuating barometric pressure might affect the tissues in the joints, leading to increased discomfort.
