Currently 345lbs,Nutrition Guidance for a novice trainee.

Hello BBM my name is Joey,

I wanted to know what would be a recommended caloric deficit to drop body fat, and what would be considered too aggressive while I commit to a NLP.
I am currently 29, 5’8", 345 lbs, 48 inch waist. I am down from 420ish lbs and a 58 inch wasit from February of last year doing random bro split/half assed SS routine. I am definitely struggling from binge eating and I definitely have an unhealthy relationship with food, I am really trying to reign that in looking for some advice nutrition wise and training as well. Is there an accurate/recommended TDEE calculator I could use that would be able to estimate training plus cardio activity, should I increase weight on the bar weekly as opposed to every session due to caloric restriction? Need some guidance.
My Current Lift Numbers are:

Squat: 225 for 3x5
Bench: 185 for 3x5
OHP: 135 for 3x5
Deadlift: 345 for 1x5

Hey Joey,

Thanks for the post and congrats on your progress so far. I don’t think there are any super accurate TDEE calculators that will be of use to you- mainly because your weight puts you far outside the norm, you know>

That said, there is no calorie deficit that is too great for you to manage right now. I’d recommend something like 220/200/60 (P/C/F) and do this until you’re in the low 200’s or so.
