Deadlift a back or leg exercise

In the bb2 routine do you recommend doing regular deadlifts?

If so do we count that as leg exercise and do on leg day, or do we count it as back and do on back day?

Or it’s a hinge movement and do it instead of barbell rows though rows may target the back better for aesthetics and hypertrophy ?

Just wondering what your advice is on how we should put deadlifts into the routine or it’s better to just avoid it, with goal being aesthetics and bodybuilding not necessarily power

I think it’s a fine variation for a hinge pattern, which I would classify mostly as a leg exercise in this context. Of course, it still has some training effect on the back, shoulder girdle, and trunk. You can select the deadlift as one of the leg movements in the Bodybuilding 2 template, but not as one of the rows.

Use the drop down menus to pick your preferred exercises and I think you’ll be on the right track.
