BBM,
I’m on the tail end of the BBM strength 12 week template, and I’ve been having some odd issues with the deadlift; all through warm ups towards a 1 @ 8, everything is fine, until I get to 385, which a few months ago was my beltless max. After I lift that belted or other wise, I’m fried and 315 barely breaks for a single. Today, I had to drop all the way to 225 to finish out my reps. I think this may be life fatigue related, but my squat doesn’t suffer in the same fashion.
I compete April 6 and was really hoping to pull 405, but I don’t know if I’ll be able to at this point. Would you all have any ideas or suggestions?
