Deficit deadlift alternative(s)

Hey Jordan, Leah et al. I just bought the 7 day GPP hypertrophy program and plan to start it in a couple weeks! Looking forward to it.

What would be some sufficient alternatives to the 2" deficit deadlifts? I struggle enough with getting into a good enough position on comp. conventional deadlift soooo… :smile: I searched the forum but didn’t find anything addressing this, specifically.

I would recommend doing the 2" deficit deadlifts anyway. I think you’ll be okay.

A BBM program was the first time I had done deficit lifts and I felt like you. Turned out I was trying to lift with my ego. I took some weight off the bar and got used to the movement and the weight quickly came back once my form got squared away.
