I happen to have an electric adjustable desk in my “home office”. Based on a quick search I see you’ve said before that you don’t think that standing desks are of any inherent value. However, I wonder if the ability to switch between could be useful. In other words, which of these options would be most likely to provide the best health outcomes?
- Sitting for 100% of the time spent at the desk
- Standing for 100% of the time spent at the desk
- Some sort of a split between the two, eg. 50/50. (if there’s a particular split you would recommend, I’d like to know, but I’m assuming there isn’t)
- Doesn’t matter
