As I follow some of the training logs on here and on Instagram I see people doing EMOMs (every minute on the minute) of something like 8-10 sets of 1-3 reps on squats, deadlifts etc. My question is what are we hoping to achieve with this kind of programming? And also could this kind of programming be fit in to something like the bridge or hypertrophy templates? In essence, when and why program this kind of work?

This is kind of a big question to answer sufficiently here. Can you ask something more specific about the EMOM stuff?
I’m currently doing the 3-day hypertrophy template and will probably be doing the bridge 3.0 next. I guess my main question is can I substitute EMOMs for anything in those programs like maybe the squat my-reps in hypertrophy or the HBBS sets of 10 in the bridge?
I wouldn’t sub in EMOMs for that application at all.
I was under the impression EMOM’s were more of a conditioning protocol.
