How would you balance hypertrophy and endurance goals for someone interested in getting bigger and improving their three mile run time? Would you train both goals concurrently or focus on one while maintaining the other? For example, would it be a good training plan to cycle between the endurance and bodybuilding templates?
To provide some context, the individual for the example is in their 30s, 180lbs, 33 inch was, 315 squat, 225 bench, 405 deadlift and a 20 minute 3 mile. I am deciding whether this situation requires 1 on 1 coaching or if I can simply cycle between the two templates. Thanks for your help.
