Hey, hoping one of the coaches could chime in.
What would be a reasonable list of most important pieces of equipment one should have going into the group programming?
Here’s what I have so far:
Power Rack
SSB
Olympic bars,
1 flat bench
1 adjustable bench
Adjustable Dumbbells up to 75lbs each hand
Lat pull/row cable attachment for power rack
Weider version of a total gym
Landmine attached to power rack
Dip attachments to power rack
Belt squat belt (not used to using this yet)
EZ curl bar
510 lbs weights
Punching bag and 16oz gloves
Treadmill
Recumbent bike
About to build a deadlift platform once I get some plywood.
Plan on getting about 300 more pounds of weights from playitagainsports ($0.60/lb)
And then I have about another $400-$550 to spend before I start the group training.
Some things I’ve had in mind are (only one of the following):
Leverage Squat Machine
Half-rack/bench (for better sharing gym time with wife, plus it’s a better bench than what I have now)
Leg-press sled that attaches to my power rack (from newyorkbarbells)
I’m up for any better suggestions!
