Hi BBM,
Overall, things are going very well in my training. I’ve completed week 1 of phase 2 of the beginner template. For the tertiary squat movement (day 3, exercise 3) I did goblet squats using plates because I don’t have dumbbells at my home gym. But I don’t think this is going to work going forward because plates are too unwieldy. So I’m considering swapping in lunges instead. However, I will be doing split squats for the tertiary squat movement in phase 3, and my question is whether these movements are insufficiently varied, or is it ok to do lunges in phase 2 and split squats in phase 3?
Also, assuming lunges are ok in this context, are reverse lunges acceptable instead of forward lunges?
