Fast food and cutting

Hi Team

I’m currently trying to cut and lost a small amount of belly fat I have.

One of my main pleasures in life is fast food. I don’t over indulge but I do enjoy a fast food meal 3 or so times a week. It’s one of the only things I look forward too.

I was just wondering if the calories are at a deficit, whether eating fast food will be a bad idea during a cut? And whether the source of the calories matter if it fits into my micros and macros…

If you’re able to maintain an energy deficit while having “fast food”, then you’ll be able to make progress, yes. I don’t think this is likely, but it’s possible!

I totally get the fast food cravings. When I was cutting, I still indulged occasionally but made smarter choices, like opting for grilled options or salads
