Fat loss or recomp?

I read your article “To be a Beast-Nutrition Basics and Setting your Macros”, and I am working on making the recommended changes.

Would loosing 15-20 lbs of fat fit into the Fat loss or Recomposition range of macros?

My Stats: 51 yo, 225, carry my extra weight in the belly and waist area, on meds for hypothyroidism, Wendler 531 program.

Goals: Lean down to 205-210 ish, lift heavier things, possibly do some comps for fun later.

I think that if you’re trying to lose 15-20lbs of fat or ~ 30lbs total that would fall squarely in the fat loss range for initial macros.
