Finished cutting!

BBM Crew,
I hope you all are well. The following stats about myself were only possible to achieve because of you guys and your templates, nutrition advice, and all the guidance you give out on the forum. From the bottom of my heart, thank you for helping me achieve something that felt impossible.

I am a 32 yr old male, 6’2”. I began seriously training in an effort to lose weight in July of 2018. I began at a body weight of 274.4 lbs and a 45” waist. Using different templates from the legacy master bundle (to keep things exciting for me) I have come to the end of my weight loss at 195.4 lbs and a waist circumference of 34.5”. I bought 34x34 pants for the first time since I was in middle school. Truly, thank you for showing me how to do this when no one else could.

I will finish my cut on Saturday morning while running the final day of the BBM legacy 3 day hypertrophy template with my own added 4th day for some extra pulling volume. My nutrition, which I have logged for the last year, is as follows:
Training days: approx. 1900 calories, 250g P, 155g C, 40g F.
Non training days (cardio only): 1800 calories, 205g P, 135 g C, 55g F.
The above macros and training have allowed for losing about 1.5-2 lbs per week.

Goals: more muscle mass and increase strength in deadlift, squat, and bench. No aspirations to compete or set world records. I have 1.25-1.5 hrs a day to train.

  1. I just purchased power building 2 and am really excited to run it, as that seemed most appropriate to my goals. Do you agree based on the limited information you have? I also have all the legacy templates that came with the bundle purchase.
  2. I believe I should not jump right into slow weight gain, but rather should do a maintenance period. Is this your recommendation?
  3. If it is not asking for too much personalized attention, do you have a recommendation to get me started on how much you would initially increase my calories and macros? I feel uncertain as to how cautious I need to be I.e, is increasing by 50 calories a day likely overly cautious, etc.?

Any guidance you can provide is greatly appreciated and I am stoked to try out the new template. Thanks again for everything you guys have done. When anyone at the gym asks how I have leaned out so much, I tell them which website to go to!

Myaw,

Nice work man! That’s awesome to hear

Onto your questions:

  1. Yes, PB 2 will be a good choice.
  2. I think that’s fine based on your history, sure.
  3. I think a 250kCal increase would be where I start here.
