First Rep of Deadlift

Hi

I’m not entirely sure if it’s normal or if I’m doing something wrong but I always find the first rep of a set of deadlifts to be the hardest and the rest I could breeze through just fine. Much more with low rep sets like 3-5 reps@7-9.(I don’t do TnG Deadlifts).

Yea, that happens frequently…especially if someone is a little hesitant due to previous injury/pain or if their technique was a bit off on the first rep, but then gets refined the further into the set they get.
