I’m on my second run of the GenS&C I - 2 day Template and really enjoy it! I have two questions:

My understanding is that one can choose an exercise that is not listed, but it is recommended to choose one that is the same kind. For “Upper Body Power” there are only pressing/pushing exercises in the recommended exercises. I was thinking about choosing a pulling exercises on my second run for Block II, maybe doing a sets of 3 explosive chinups EMOM. Would that be viable or is there a reason, why all “upper body power” movements are pressing exercises? Would you change something else since the pressing volume would go down and the pulling volume would go up?

When submitting a formcheck one of the questions is to choose the submitted exercise (Squat, Bench, Press, Deadlift). Is it ok to submit a formcheck for power cleans? I’m doing them as the recommended exercise for “Lower Body Power”, but they feel quite rusty since the starting strength linear progression days years ago
