I am starting the GPP Endurance template next week in order to get my 3 mile PT run time down while maintaining strength. I had two questions before starting the training block;

I am coming off of the HLM program; I have built up to a decent amount volume in all of my lifts and also do two GPP days on which I run. When starting the GPP Endurance block, should I still do the low stress week or jump into week 2? After listening to your new podcast about training sensitivity, I am not sure what the proper approach is, since this training block will have a lot less volume overall, therefore there might not be a need for a low stress week.

Is subbing out the floor press for Close Grip Bench for the first three weeks okay, or is there a better substitute?
