Hamstring pain

Hey docs,

Could you please suggest some entry point movements to rehab my non specific hamstring pain. I am familiar with your rehab modalities as I’ve used them to rehab low back and shoulder pain. Currently even bodyweight rdls are painful when my hands pass my knees. Should I focus on just using this very minimal rom or use other exercises like Lunges or single leg rdls? I can squat and Lunge without pain. What would you suggest for entry point exercises?

If bodyweight "RDL"s are painful, you could try performing them with more knee flexion as a way to make it more tolerable.

Outside of this, yes, single-leg RDLs, good mornings, lunges (front/back/lateral) are options, and don’t rule out the option of a leg curl machine.
