Have your recommendations on amount of protein intake changed?

Hi there,

On recent posts you’ve recommended getting at least 1.6g of protein per KG of body weight per day.

Have your recommendations on protein intake changed recently - the To Be A Beast article recommends between 1.1 and 1.25g of protein per LB of bodyweight, depending on fat loss/muscle gain/recomp.

This equates to c.240 - 275g of protein for a 100kg man, whereas recent recommendations would say that 160g of protein would be sufficient. Is 1.6g/KG of bodyweight the minimum recommendation?

Kind of, but not really.

My recommendations for protein are 1.6-3.1g/kg/day, which encompasses the protein recommendations in TBAB.
