Hitting fibre targets when cutting

Hi there - I’m currently on 2000 calories per day (175P/225C/44F, weight 214lbs, height 6ft1, age 30) and am struggling to hit my fibre goals.

Below are what I believe to be the highest fibre foods I’ve had today, and this still only comes to 26g fibre (according to MyFitnessPal):

  1. 40g oats
  2. 2x slice oatmeal bread
  3. 125g banana
  4. 120g apple
  5. 100g clementine
  6. 100g (240g cooked) penne pasta
  7. 80g carrots
  8. 35c button mushrooms
  9. 200g chopped tomatoes Is it simply a case of me choosing my fibre sources more carefully, or do you find fibre intake often decreases when cutting calories?

Thanks in advance

I’d aim for more green vegetables than fruits and root vegetables at that Calorie level. Should help!

Great, thank you Jordan
