Hypertrophy II - Exercise 2, days 3 and 4 - RPE 8 to 9 is a large gap (68% to 76%)

This seems like an error - but I also know you have these things pretty well hammered out. Is it intended? (the RPE calculator also does not map to the template %'s)

My RPEs do not map to this very well so I just do what I can:

10 @ RPE 8 maps well to 68%

but 10 @ RPE 9 does not map well to 76%, for me.

• 10 reps @ RPE 9 (76%). Take off 5% from 10 @ 9 and do 1 set of 10. |

Yea, it should be closer to 70%. I just updated this template and you can re-download it using the link in your receipt.

That said, I would use have the RPE’s supersede any percentages, which are really just there to bracket your expectations for loading.

Haha awesome, I registered today to ask this same question on the forum because that jump in % seemed way too high. I’ll download the template again
