Hypertrophy to bodybuilding.

I am currently on hypertrophy 2 and will be starting week 4 In a few days. My concern is that I would like to start the bodybuilding twmplate now. Should I hop into the first week or start somewhere later on in the template?

That’s totally fine.

I would like to substitute the shrugs in day 4 with something for my lateral/posterior deltoid, as my traps are very well developed and I’d like to focus more on shoulder growth. What would you recommend in place of shrugs, besides upright rows(can’t perform without pain)?

I would still start on the first week. You can do any exercise you like. I’d probably stick with the shrugs if it were me. If you can’t do a BB row without pain, how about a dumbbell or tempo upright row?
