Is my bag of psyllium husk junk now?

Hi -

I’ve been supplementing my whole food dietary fiber with psyllium husk for about a year and a half based on prior recommendations. Both my spouse and I feel like we’ve seen positive results from that. After listening to your Fiber podcast, now I’m wondering if we’ve just been placeboing ourselves. Should I just throw away the bag we still have? Or is this more like the old “I’m tired of people asking if they can LP with Leg Press so I’m just going to say ‘No’ from now on”?

I think psyllium husk is fine, but I would prefer you to get the majority of your dietary fiber in from whole foods whenever possible.
