Do you see any problems with mixing a Psyllium husk fiber supplement with a protein powder shake? I’m sure you agree that dietary fiber intake is best from whole foods sources, but if I’m using a supplement for it, is there any reason to avoid adding it a protein shake (decreased nutrient absorption, etc)? Adjacent to that, do you consider Psyllium husk supplement useful if dietary fiber intake is below optimal, and would it be your recommendation vs. other supplemental fiber sources?
