Knee pain

Hey guys! Got injured 2 weeks ago while running, felt a sharp pain below my knee cap and I stopped. I was not able to bear weight on it at the moment, now is better. Also, major swelling did not occur, just a veeery little bit. The problem is when I walk it hurts in the same spot while doing the plantar flexion type of motion which results in me walking with my foot dorsiflexed in order to avoid pain. Also, hurts when raising my leg while climbing stairs and when going downstairs. The thing is that squatting does not hurt at all, knee extensions do not hurt, but leg curls machine does hurt and the leg with the injured knee is weaker than the other. Leg curls do not hurt while doing them with no weight added, just the weight of my leg. How would u rehab this? It does not affect my training that much, just my regular daily activities.
