Lifting Shoes

Hey folks,

Hopefully requesting this is not verboten? Is there a brand of men’s lifting shoe you would recommend? Preferably something that will not break the bank. Thanks!

Adidas and Nike make good powerlifting shoes - I use the Adidas Powerlifting shoes, they’re about $120. I use them for all my lifts except deadlift. Pricey, but worth the investment IMO. They can last for years if you only use them for lifting, and make a big difference for the squat.

For the deadlift, I use Chuck Taylor’s, since they’re flat and stiff (or I just got barefoot). I don’t like the raised heel that the Powerlifting shoes have on the deadlift since it jams my knees too far forward.

I use Adidas Addipowers for squat, DL slippers for DL, and Reebok Crossfit for Bench and everything else. x2 for shoes with a heel for DLing, the heel helps most folks in the squat as does a stiffer shoe. Check around, you can find good deals online.

i’ve got a pair of Adidas Powerlift 3.1 Weightlifting shoes. Got 'em on sale for £35 GBP on Amazon. Bargain

i love 'em - very snug and stable with the benefit of a mid-foot strap - but i can’t give you any comparison info as they’re the first pair of lifting shoes i’ve ever bought

same as everyone above - i use 'em for Squats, Press and Bench, and just take 'em off for DL

one problem i had (in the UK) is that i pretty much had to source these online. No-one on the high-street will hold lifting shoes in stock, so you can’t fit 'em on before purchase. but i got lucky, and they were ace straight out of the box

My experience has been that Adidas is better for narrow feet and Reebok is better for wider in the intro space.

Not an expert or anything but I bought my Adi POWERLIFT 2.0 and I have been very happy with them (I prefer the narrow/snug feel of adidas ) I guess it does not really matter that much what brand you buy, they all should be great and last you years look @ amazon or Zalando is you are in EU for best prices

Personally, i like flats for squat and deadlifts and heeled por bench and press. my flats are the sabo goodlifts and I really like them. And for the heeled i have the romaleos 3, they are excellent but quite pricey

Okay the wife went out and bought me some Addidas Powerlift 3.1. I am thinking they fit a little to snug in the Toe box. Any advice on how they are supposed to feel?

I use and highly recommend Nike. I always use to wear them. Most often i buy them from an online store that is not only my favorite but also ranked on top in web town. I love the deals and discounts they continuously offer. I recently used their Mother’s Day coupon codes and discount promotions and received huge discounts including free shipping.

Hey there, Surely i have a bunch to give you for Men Lifting shoes that are very comfortable and pocket friendly. I suggest you to choose among best Brand like Nike, Adidas, Puma , Sneakers as they all are the bets among all brands and have the best Comfortable Collection for you. I know you are thinking that these are Top Online Brands and are very expensive but let me correct you they are not that much expensive as you think. If you buy them from Qoupon Codes then you will get up to 40% Off in your purchase that is far more cheap than to shop from any Outlet. I highly recommend you to shop from this Online Store as they have the vast range and collection of discounted Coupons and codes as i have used many of them & believe me it was the best savings i ever had on any Online Store.

For wide feet (I use ASICS 4E for running shoes) I have the Rogue DoWin’s and they are relatively inexpensive ($95) and fit well and work well.

VS athletics- ugly, but are great shoes that won’t break the bank.

I think they look pretty good, not like clown shoes like my powerlift IIs. They have great reviews too.

I just got my first pair of lifting shoes. They are the Reebok Legacy Lifters. Raised heel is great for squatting. They have a really solid insole and arch support. I have flat feet and these get everything in perfect alignment from the floor through the hips…

I have wide feet and I find the Adidas Powerlift 2.0 fine for sizing. It is snug around my foot, but it has stretched enough over the years. I use them for everything except deadlifting (Vivobarefoot flat shoes).

Unironically the Power Perfects 3 feel too wide in the tip !

I wear a pair of Pendlay Dowins that are probably ~8-9 years old. I’ve tried a couple of different shoes since but I keep going back to these. They’re the GOAT as far as I’m concerned.

Would you say you have narrow feet?

Weird I have wide feet and after 3 years I still dislike the powerlift’s toe box for feeling too narrow. Did you do anything to stretch them out besides wear them?

My powerlifts feel narrow at the toe also and I don’t have really wide feet. The cuticle on my big toe always gets aggravated and inflamed when I wear them too much.

I always default to my old wood sole Rogues.

no, i dont really think so .
