I’ve been suffering from a pain in a specific point of my trapezius muscle which started 8 months when I was doing dumbell shrugs and suddently felt a pinch in my left trapezius (close to the shoulder blade).
At first the pain was very bad and I could not lift my hands up or move my neck without pain, but after going to physiotherapy (about 10 times) and acupuncture (about 7 times) it started feeling better, though I still have pain in a specific point of my trap. I have also been to the orthopedist who sent to get an x-ray and an ultrasound done, though both were normal and nothing was found.
For the first 3-5 months after the injury I was training normally though the pain never went away and even started getting worse again. Since then (around 3 months) I haven’t been training at all and I still have the same amount of pain. Any help would be aprreciated.
