making sense of bodyweight training

hello. i’m writing in hope to find guidance with respect to bodyweight training.
this is my situation: in the next months, i’ll be forced to train without a barbell, using only my body, and frankly i don’t know what exercises i should do (what are the “big four” of bodyweight training??).
my idea would be doing a whole body workout several times per week. something like: dips, chin ups, one-legged squats and some ab movement. the progressive overload component would come from adding sets every week, and eventually starting using a weighted vest.
will these exercises hit all the muscles i need to hit, preventing me from losing strength while away from the barbell?
i’m an early intermediate mainly looking to gain muscle mass.
